Where exactly did 2014 go? Is it just me or did it fly by?

It’s been a huge year for so many people I know and honestly, I’m no exception. It started in Sydney {and let’s face it, that’s always a set up for a good year ahead!}, we bought a house in the country, I turned 40, spent a week lounging in my favourite part of Spain and, with huge thanks to my therapists and clients, led Fusion Studio through it’s best year yet.

I don’t really do resolutions but I have a few seeds to sow in 2015. And maybe I’d like to take a little bit more time off work, but then this Type A fails at that one every year!

Just a few links for you this month as I know we’re all busy.

As I said, I don’t really do resolutions, but here’s a list of 25 that everyone should think about making. Some of these are no-brainers really. Make them now. Don’t wait til new year.

We talk about living our yoga and a great place to start is thinking about where we buy our yoga pants.

Meanwhile misogyny and sexualisation is rife, even in yoga.

After the Sydney siege and the terrible killings in Pakistan, this piece in the Independent said what many of us are already thinking. It’s not about Muslims vs non-Muslims, it’s about violence vs peace.

Why you might want to think twice before going to see Rudloph this Christmas. Reindeer just can’t cope in our climate and often don’t survive the following summer.

On a lighter note to finish, these photographs look like paintings of animals at first glance, but look closer! And take a look at these iconic photographs with added tattoos!

And finally, if you love Noel Gallagher as much as me you’ll love his words of wisdom on Russell Brand (“I couldn’t see him overthrowing a table full of drinks”), becoming the “Duke of Manchester”, “shite apps”, hangovers and Smiths Square Crisps (“If they ever come up with anything more salty or vinegary than that, I’d be f*cking amazed”).

Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year lovelies.  See you in 2015!
